In some jurisdictions, physicians have a discretionary authority to report patients with high risk medical conditions to the Ministry of Transportation.

Although these regulations may be well-intentioned, it came to our attention that some physicians are using these regulations as scare-tactics and as a pressure tool to coerce their patients and deny them the right to informed consent.
